If you like bread, cookies, cakes, pizza, icea and pretty much anything that is not particularly healthy, the International Bakery Show in Taipei is an event you cannot miss.IMG_4939Dxo

Not only is it possible to enjoy many free simples of freshly baked good, there’s also the chance to buy real Italian ice cream.

Stars of the shows are the baked goods though, with cakes, bupcakes, cookies and the sorts being on display in every stand.

The above are ice cream doughnuts. ICE. CREAM. DOUGHNUTS.

In many trade shows goods tend to be very expensive, but here it was possible to buy good flour and baking tools at very cheap prices.

Luckily there are some small food stands that sell “salty” food, after 2 hours of ice cream and sweet pastries it was nice to introduce some salt in my body.

This was the second time for me to attend the show, and the biggest difference compared to last year was the presence of Italian bakeries. There were not many Italian products last year, but this year their presence was massive.  IMG_4955Dxo

All picture in the post were taken with Canon 6D and 50mm f1.8 STM. The expo area is conveniently located in Nangang station, Taipei. It’s possible to get there via bus or metro very easily. Now I have to leave and have some more ice cream.
