Spent some time at the beach this morning. The plan was to play with the water, but typhoon Nepartak was still blowing strong and entering the sea was not safe at all. So I stayed on the beach and spent some time taking long-exposures. It was morning, between 9 and 10:30, all exposures were 10 to 30 seconds so I used a tripod and ND filter to achieve low shutter speeds.
The sun decided to show up every now and then, ruining many images. i’m fairly happy about my trip though, and in the coming day I’ll have plenty of images to share. Unfortunately, shooting at f22 means that the sensor shows every tiny piece of dust stuck on it, and each image requires a lot of clean up work.
The location is the beach of Toucheng, northern Yilan.
