Christmas is not really a national holiday in Taiwan, but it’s still celebrated nearly everywhere.
Larger cities like Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung etc etc are those where it’s easier to find Christmas decorations, activities and food.
I went to Taipei today and passed by the 101. It has a small Christmas-themed market where people can buy (expensive) stuff.
The weather has been extremely benevolent today. While walking in Taipei in didn’t rain at all. Once I went to the bus station there was some light rainfall, which quickly turned into an endless shower of doom by the time I arrived in the Yilan bus station. Luckily, by the time I reached the motorbike the rain stopped and allowed me to get back home dry. Pretty amazing!
